This looks kind of gross, I realize, thanks to the bad phone pic, but it was actually delicious. It was a beet spread (with ginger in it, just a tad sweet and slightly spicy) and it was the color no food should be (a.k.a. the color of beet juice). It also exactly matched my laptop case.
